about Ian Fedeli

My name is Ian Fedeli. I live in Seattle, WA with my girlfriend Sarah and my dog Dugan. I work as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon.com. I recently graduated from Rice University with a double major in Computer Science and Economics. I grew up in Fairfield, CT, where my parents still reside along with my younger brother. I attended Greens Farms Academy for high school.

My interests include:

• Computers, Technology, and the Internet
• Economics, Politics, and Philosophy
• Food, Beer, and Cigars (and increasingly Coffee, see current location above)
• Baseball (New York Mets!), Basketball, College Football
• Video Games, Movies, and Television

Sticking to just one of the above topics would be too hard… I’m not going to try.

I blog in order to record thoughts and events, and also to force myself to solidfy my thoughts about the given topic. If I can provide something interesting to readers, then I will consider that a bonus. I do hope that posts here may spur conversation (via comments, email, twitter, etc) … I’d love to hear what you think of my ramblings.
